My name is André Fahlström Pettersson, who runs this site.
Lives in Sala, Sweden which is probably best known for the Sala Silver mine.
I have been running this site since 2012 with a short break when I shut it down at the end of 2022, and then started it up again in May 2023. I have been thinking for quite some time about changing the name of the site to something that reflects the content, so in January 2025 André Fahlström Photography became ROCKPIX.SE.
I have been involved in photography since 2007 and have had time to explore a lot of different areas of photography. It has become nature and bird photography, some portrait and model photography, HDR (High Dynamic Range), macro photography, and finally what I photograph almost exclusively today…concert photography! The first brave attempt to photograph a concert, and which also made me open my eyes to it, was Slash at Gröna Lund from the audience place on an early summer evening at the end of May 2015. So in other words, it was Slash ft. Miles Kennedy & the Conspirators who got me hooked on concert photography. These images can be found most easily on the site map in the menu for those who want to see.
